Ephant Mon owes a life debt to Jabba the Hutt. To pay back the debt, Mon has formed an allegiance with Jabba by ratting out any plots against Jabba. Mon also gathers information and advises Jabba on certain matters. Such is the case when Mon gets an quirking feeling about the Rebel Alliance members Jabba is holding prisoner.
