The Oath of Obedience was a vow made, for some time between the years 19 BBY and 1 BBY, by riot troopers who were graduating from the Imperial Academy of Yinchorr. The oath consisted of a pledge to give complete allegiance to Emperor Palpatine and the Galactic Empire, even to death.
