In 21 BBY Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor was captured and arrested by Anakin Skywalker on Metalorn. After Tambor was relocated to the prison world Delrian, the Techno Union hired Nuri to lead a rescue attempt. Nuri and two Skakoan Commandos disguised themselves as Tambor's legal deputies and were permitted to visit his cell. The two commandos killed Tambor's guards and blew open his cell by breaching their compressed methane pressure suits. In the ensuing chaos, Nuri secured Tambor and used secret Techno Union devices to bypass the prison's security systems. After the successful rescue mission, Nuri remained in the Techno Union's employ as a guard in Wat Tambor's fortress on Xagobah.
Nuri would later confront Boba on Xagobah, turning into an Arrak snake to strangle him, and then a Dinko to spray a foul smell in order to stun Boba before scuttling off as a Fefze beetle, but Boba caught him and got his revenge by paralyzing him at least temporarily with a Xabar fungus.
