"Notes on Jedi Heresies" was a series of notes created by Professor Korin Aphra which regarded multiple Jedi heretical groups. Included in the notes was a brief history of Jedi Master Oo'ob, who, after the Corsair Wars, recruited the crystallist Var-Whill to construct a sniper rifle modified with lightsaber technology, called the Farkiller. These notes existed in the archives of Teezee-Too, a protocol droid who worked with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, who wished to use the Farkiller's technology to assassinate Emperor Palpatine prior to 3 ABY.
