Contrarily to Klatooinians, Niktos did not forfeit their own language to replace it with Huttese, although most of them learned Huttese as a second language. Some Hutts learned to speak Nikto to deal with their Nikto servants.
Most Nikto who left their world were also fluent in Basic, although they were rarely literate in that language.
