In 28 ABY, the conference building was bombed by the paramilitary known as the Amaxine warriors. However, thanks to a napkin-written message left for Princess Leia Organa during a breakfast meeting, the senator was able to activate the building's alarm and evacuate the building before the explosion. Due to her efforts, no-one was killed, although a few hundred people were injured.
