Nerve disruptors were deadly weapons that, according to Jedi Master Lene Kostana, were illegal in civilized star systems. When Kostana ventured to the planet Asusto with the Padawans Dooku and Sifo-Dyas, following the trail of supposed dark side artifacts, they encountered a group of Abyssin smugglers transporting nerve disruptors, intending to sell them. Enraged, Dooku killed the Abyssin, destroying the nerve disruptors.
