The Nefra Canyons were a formation on Sulon, part of a semiarid region near the Hanto Mountains. The Fuel City was built not far away, on the other side of the Mountains. The canyons were mazelike with reddish-brown corroded walls. Some ravines were so large that starfighters could fly along.
During a mission in Fuel City in 5 ABY, TIEs hunted the Moldy Crow. Sulonese native Kyle Katarn suggested to the pilot Jan Ors to retreat to the Nefra Canyons to lose them. While flying over the mountains one TIE crashed, and led the remaining fighter dive and pursue her in a ravine. The pursuit passed turns and under a land bridge until reached a cliff; the Crow pulled over, but the TIE crashed on the cliff wall.
