Nausage

Nausage was a grilled food from the planet Tatooine that was served with dustcrepes in the early decades of the New Republic. A favorite breakfast meal on Tatooine, Luke Skywalker enjoyed the dish.

Although she was a poor chef, Mara Jade Skywalker attempted to make the dish for breakfast while on Eclipse Station in 27 ABY during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Not wishing to leave her quarters for other food and end her private time with her husband and infant son, Ben Skywalker, Jade Skywalker persisted in making the meal despite browning the dustcrepes and puffing the nausage, which was blackened. When Luke Skywalker exited the refresher shortly after, he commented that the food smelled good and sampled her nausage, which he claimed was just like that made on Tatooine.
