During the New Republic Era, Med was visited by his great-grandson, Karr Nuq Sin, and died knowing that he had protected his family and that the Jedi were no longer being hunted. After his death, Sin took Med's lightsaber and Jedi robes, and was inspired by his great-grandfather to become a Force collector, someone who not only collected items, but also to explain, remember and share the stories about the Jedi.
