Naboo calendar

The human inhabitants of Naboo followed a calendar system that used the "Year of Kwilaan" notation, after leader of the original colonists. According to that system, the coronation of Queen Amidala took place on the 34th of Grizm, 835th Year of Kwilaan.

The Naboo calendar system was first explicitely used in Pablo Hidalgo's 2016 reference book Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy. Hidalgo derived the "835th Year of Kwilaan" date from "Crisis on Naboo," the eighteenth episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' fourth season, in which it is said that Naboo joined the Republic "eight-hundred and forty-seven years ago".
