The Mud Puddle was a cantina on Ord Mantell. It was built in a former speeder garage, and a murky puddle lay perpetually in front of its entrance. This forced patrons to get wet when entering, and give rise to its name. The Mud Puddle catered mostly to locals, who regarded strangers with suspicion.
Arthen Brutt was one of these regulars, when he was sought out by the rogue Jedi trainee Dal Konur. Shortly after, a team of operative hired by Luke Skywalker to capture Konur also visited the cantina, gaining information on Konur's whereabouts from Brutt.
