Mon Calamari Extreme was the designation given to the area of space just beyond the Calamari system during the Defense of Mon Calamari, which precluded the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Iceberg Three was located near the region during the battle, although its orbit only carried it through Mon Calamari Extreme at certain times. The Twin Suns, Vanguard, Scimitar, and Rogue Squadrons met in this area to contended with an advance portion of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet.
