Mkbuto Seatree Preserve was an undersea forest on Dac.
Located along the planet's equatorial belt, the Preserve was hundreds of kilometers in length. Declared a preserve for the high density of sea-growing tree and seaweed species, it was also home to thousands of species of sea creatures.
During the early stages of Mon Calamari civilization, the Preserve was heavily populated, but the discovery of a tectonic border running through the Preserve made it an impossible location for long-term habitation. The wildlife continued to grow, eventually overtaking the ruins of the ancient Mon Calamari habitats.
