The mission was ultimately a success, as rebel Jedi Luke Skywalker rescued the family from the galactic capital of Coruscant. On the way back to the rebel fleet, the two agents informed Skywalker of the Death Star, who then informed rebel Chancellor Mon Mothma, Admiral Gial Ackbar, and General Hera Syndulla of the station's existence.
