During the Cold War, two Galactic Republic soldiers, Felix Iresso and Milo Pellam, undertook a scouting mission to the planet Althir III. There, they were captured by an Imperial strike team. Chosen as test subjects for Sith Lord Darth Ouzal, the two were implanted with the information contained within a Sith holocron into their brain. Pelam was completely broken by the procedure, while Iresso escaped on his own, only losing a portion of his memory.
