Mirial Teacake

Mirial Teacakes were a type of pink and green teacake named for the desert planet Mirial, which shared the cakes' color scheme. The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included a recipe for Mirial Teacakes in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook, which he released at some point after publishing his first cookbook in 34 ABY.

Tuggs included the cakes in the book as a lighter dessert option for when guests were full after a hearty main course but advised readers to make a large batch of the cakes just in case anyone was hungrier than they had thought. Tuggs also assured readers that the cakes were nowhere near as dry as the desert world they were named for.

Mirial Teacakes were created as a recipe for the 2021 Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe recipe uses flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla yogurt, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, separated large eggs, cream of tartar, pink food gel dye, matcha powder, and confectioners' sugar.
