The Mirgoshir campaign was a campaign that occurred during the early months of the Clone Wars.
Following the Battle of Geonosis, the Confederacy of Independent Systems quickly moved its forces into the Lahara sector to take control of the planet Agamar and the hyperspace crossroads of the Mirgoshir system.
Republic forces on Thule, preparing to depart for the Mirgoshir system
One month after the Battle of Geonosis, Count Dooku unleashed the Force Harvester on Agamar. Shortly after, the Galactic Republic destroyed the Dark Reaper superweapon in the Battle of Thule. Following their victory on Thule, the Republic forces under the command of Mace Windu prepared to depart for the Mirgoshir system.
Five months after the Battle of Geonosis, fighting was still occurring in the Mirgoshir system, where Separatist forces were unable to reinforce those fighting on Brentaal IV.
The Grand Army of the Republic suffered catastrophic losses during the Mirgoshir campaign. Many Republic walkers were lost while traversing the natural bridges of Agamar, which collapsed under their heavy footfalls. These disastrous incidents later led to the development of the UT-AT repulsorcraft at the height of the Clone Wars.
