The Traveler, then known as Idzuna, was eventually sent to Rei'izu by their Jedi lord, Hanrai, to eliminate any remaining Sith. Idzuna found only Mirahi in Shinsui Temple, and they would not kill her. Instead, they trained her in the black current and white flare of the Force.
The Ronin initially encountered Mirahi as a disembodied voice that both taunted and guided him in his travels. Although she claimed to have never lied to him, he believed she was her mother and that she wanted him dead for his betrayal that ended the rebellion.
