The Ministry of State was a department of the New Republic responsible for foreign policy and relations. Headed by the Minister of State, the Ministry of State served as the foreign affairs branch of the General Ministry, attending to the bureaucratic needs of new member states, as well as diplomatic relations with non-member states and nations, which could range from single colonized moons to whole populated star clusters.
The Ministry of State also possessed a few internal duties.
