Millius Prime

Millius Prime was one of the thousand moons that orbited the planet Iego and the homeworld of the Diathim. During the Clone Wars, the moon was conquered by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, which installed the primary node of a LaserWeb Defense Station on its surface. The installation was later destroyed by Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker of the Galactic Republic.

Description

Millius Prime was the largest of the thousand moons that orbited Iego, a mysterious planet located on the fringes of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, in grid square T-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid. Its surface was a mottled purple when viewed from space, pockmarked by large craters and a smooth rocky terrain.

The primary node on Millius Prime's surface

By the year 21 BBY, the Confederacy of Independent Systems had conquered Millius Prime and driven the indigenous Diathim from their homes. The Confederacy then embedded the primary node of a LaserWeb Defense Station in the moon's surface to prevent anyone from leaving Iego, though it was later destroyed by Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker of the Galactic Republic, liberating the moon and the planet below.

Inhabitants

Millius Prime was the homeworld of the Diathim, also known as Angels, a race of beautiful, luminous beings who were driven from the moon by the Separatists.

Millius Prime first appeared in "Mystery of a Thousand Moons," the eighteenth episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars first season, which originally aired on February 13, 2009. The corresponding StarWars.com Episode Guide clarified that the moon was home to the Separatists' primary laser web node. The 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia depicted Millius Prime using concept art of Iego and its moons developed by Jackson Sze.

According to another piece of concept art, the "Main Laser Station" embedded into Millius Prime's surface was designed to evoke the Death Star's superlaser emitter.
