Micro-scanners or microsensors were miniature sensors. The Holographic Projector Doubler Suit used thousands of them to relay movement data from the suit to the holoprojector's computer brain. Micro-scanners could be used to verify navigation chart tapes. Han Solo and Crimson Jack both carried them to their duel in space.
Bossk had the controls of his ship, the Hound's Tooth modified for his Trandoshan physiology. Troughs on the ship's control grid were lined with microsensors, allowing them to respond to Bossk's every move which in turn allowed him to control the ship with little effort.
