Merokia was a desert planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories near the Unknown Regions, in grid square J-18 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It was inhabited during the era of the New Republic. Merokia was the homeworld of the Force-sensitive human Karr Nuq Sin.
During the High Republic Era Merokia was allied to E'ronoh but cut ties after the Eiram and E'ronoh War reignited again.
Merokia first appeared in the 2019 junior novel Force Collector written by Kevin Shinick. The planet was named after Meroke, a name for the Native American people indigenous to the area that became Shinick's hometown of Merrick, New York and the town's namesake.
