Perhaps less common than the former and less elegant than the latter, a wide variety of weapons could be found throughout the galaxy, both for close combat and ranged combat. Some were of very advanced technology, capable of wreaking havoc. Others, though more rudimentary, were most effective against the most unwary opponents. Many of those weapons were made by their own wearers, and there were cases, such as Rey with her rod or Ezra Bridger with his slingshot, that made them a personal brand.
