Mek'tradi was a planet that housed a Rebel Alliance cell during the Imperial Era. The Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing bombarded the planet from orbit to draw out the rebel cell and destroy them. Yrica Quell, an Imperial pilot who later defected, was horrified about what she had done, but followed orders regardless.
