Med patches were a type of medical device used to reduce pain. The rogue clone Wrecker used the patches when suffering from frequent headaches at the beginning of the Imperial Era, which, unbeknownst to him or his squad, were caused by his frequent head injuries aggravating his implanted inhibitor chip, a mind-control device implanted in all of the clones to make them carry out Order 66. When Wrecker asked Tech for a patch shortly after the Bad Batch had been reunited with Captain Rex, another rogue clone and a friend of theirs, Tech said they had run out of patches, and Rex was alarmed to discover that they had not yet removed their chips.
