In 1999, Matt earned a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art & Design. While pursuing his education, Matt worked as a Video Editor with Island Media Group, and an Animator/Compositor with Atomic Imaging/Golen Entertainment. After earning his degree, Matt worked four years at Dreamworks Interactive. He also worked with Totally Games. He began working with LucasArts as External Art Directer in January 2003, and signed on full time in May of that same year. He has held the position ever since.
In 2004, Matt Omernick became a published author with the release of his book, Creating the Art of the Game.
