Martin Schlierkamp is a Star Wars fan and illustrator who designed Shao to Gok in the Design An Alien contest held in the Star Wars Galaxy Magazines. The entry was given an honorable mention in the 16 years and older category. He was 23 at the time his entry was published.
Martin Schlierkamp was born in Cologne (Germany) in 1972. With a diploma (2000) in graphic design and a background in cartoon animation and game development he today works as a freelance artist. His clients include design agencies, animation studios, book and comic book publishers, game developers and private customers.
In 2017 he began providing artwork for the official German Star Wars Magazine's subscribers edition, the "Journal of the Whills".
