Jibs was present during the Mission to Hon-Tallos where he confronted Sana, demanding the location of Mevera. Sana fled on Nussi and he chased her on a speeder bike. Sana attacked him with her rancor mount, causing Jibs to crash into a wall. Later, Mevera received a holomessage from him stating that he had kidnapped Thea and she had 48 hours to surrender to him or he would kill Thea.
Lompop checked with her Soikan sources and confirmed they hadn't hired Jibs. The group traveled to Hynestia to meet with him. Jibs held Thea at blasterpoint. Sana informed him that they knew he wasn't a bounty hunter. He revealed he was just a distraction so that the Imperials could attack and capture all the Starros. He took Thea back to a ship and transported her to the King's Ransom.
