The Marine Corps, with its members known as the Rebel marines or as the Alliance marines, were soldiers of the Alliance to Restore the Republic who fought in the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Commandos from this sub-group of Rebel Alliance Special Forces were known for being brave and resilient.
