Maria was a Lambda-class shuttle used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.
The Maria delivered the Death Star plans, recently acquired by AX-235, to Leia Organa on the CR90 corvette Tantive IV. The transfer was interrupted by the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Immortal which launched several Assault Gunboats before jumping into hyperspace. However, the Imperial fighters were destroyed by Rebel X-wings, led by Keyan Farlander, and the Maria was able to escape after successfully transferring the plans.
