After the Battle of Yavin, King Terak offered a Marauder armor to a spacer who had achieved several missions for him and the Sanyassan Marauders.
The Marauder armor appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The Marauder armor became the Marauder battle armor when the armor was adapted to the new armor system of the "Combat Upgrade," released on April 27, 2005.
