Manpha

Manpha was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Simon Beecroft and Pablo Hidalgo's 2016 reference book Star Wars Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded. The 2017 French-language book Creatures and Peoples of the Galaxy by Sabine Boccador misspelled the planet's name as "Monpha."

Manpha was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 1997 Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition, published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The planet was subsequently given its first visual depiction in the 2006 reference book The New Essential Guide to Alien Species, which was written by Ann Margaret Lewis and Helen Keier and illustrated by Chris Trevas and William O'Connor.
