Maikel Das is a German writer, artist, editor, and publisher and a regular contributer for the magazine. He also contributed reports and illustrations to the US fanzine Blue Harvest (Zine) from 1994 to 2000.
The illustrations of Ishin-Il-Raz appearing in Star Wars Insider 66 and 84 were based on Das.
