Magclamps were designed to tow stationary wrecks back to dock for repairs. They were big, clunky, and bad for precision work. Jedi Vectors were equipped with four magclamps that would fire cable lines to magnetically latch onto the starship or other object to tow. It could be rigged with Egarian silk or duralloy cabling.
