The logistics center, also known as the logistics wing, was the central facility from which the Republic Defense Procurement office managed the distribution and transit of material and personnel in the Grand Army of the Republic.
The logistics center was largely manned by civilian personnel like Besany Wennen and Vinna Jiss, assisted by droids. Only a few military troops were present, such as the injured clone trooper CT-5108/8843, known as "Corr", who was assigned there temporarily after losing his hands, as there was a shortage of sufficiently robust and sophisticated prosthetics, and he was unable to return immediately to front-line duties.
