Commanded by a Captain, a line company was comprised of four line platoons, a command element, and support personnel. The captain in command was assisted by four staff officers, each equivalent to a lieutenant in rank. The SC1 was the company lieutenant, the SC2 was the logistics officer, the SC3 was the medical officer, and the SC4 was the technical officer. The support element of the company included including eight personnel devoted to logistical matters, eleven technical personnel, and four medical personnel. One hundred and eighteen droids provided support.
The line company could be augmented by the addition of two assault platoons, and two more line platoons. In addition, if the company was expected to be deployed without support, more droids were assigned to the company.
