In the year 3678 BBY, Skadge was born on Lijuter. During the Galactic War, a mass exodus transpired on the planet where several Houks left their homeworld to travel to Phorliss.
Under the Galactic Empire, a research station on the second moon of Lijuter was the site of Imperial experiments which attempted to turn Houk subjects into "perfect slaves."
