The episode opens with a disguised Leia Organa freeing Han Solo, who is frozen in carbonite in Jabba's Palace. Han, who is suffering from hibernation sickness, asks who she is. Leia replies that it is someone who loves him.
The episode then flashes back to shots of Leia frowning while Han and Lando Calrissian chat on the Cloud City landing platform. Later, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca are led by Lando into a banquet room where they are trapped by Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and stormtroopers. Later, Leia watches as Han is lowered into the carbon-freezing chamber. Leia tells Han that she loves him and Han responds that he knows. Vader and Fett watch impassively.
The narrator explains that in a "galaxy of adventures," love conquers all as Leia looks grim. The video then flashes forward to shots of Leia and Chewbacca engaging stormtroopers in a blaster fight. Bespin Wing Guard officers carry Han's frozen body aboard the Slave I as Fett watches. Leia, Chewie, and Lando soon arrive but are too late to stop Fett from departing with Solo.
Returning to the present, Leia and Han share a passionate embrace in the depths of Jabba's Palace.
