Lava nymphs were winged creatures that dwelled in groups, living in luminescent hives at the Corvax Fortress during the Imperial Era. They possessed abdomens that glowed bright orange, the light increasing in intensity as the creature grew agitated, eventually swelling into a ball of lava that the nymph spat from its maw. When the creature's body was crushed, liquid lava burst out of their body.
