Lanitra was a Pantoran criminal who was a member of the Genetian Collective syndicate and worked for the Shani bounty hunter Deva Lompop.
At some point between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Lanitra was present at a location in the Dalnan sector when members of the Starros Clan visited Lompop for her help in recovering a family heirloom. Lanitra simultaneously planned to work with Lompop of liberating a rancor on Hon-Tallos. Before the two could leave, Lanitra was at a bar when Sana Starros arrived and asked for a neat joru. Lanitra questioned Starros if things were that bad, to which Starros responded that it was down to family. Lanitra replied that she knew what Starros meant more than anyone, and introduced herself to the bounty hunter. After Starros asked Lanitra what brought her to the place, she responded that she had a favor to ask of Lompop, and asked Starros what she was there for. Starros informed the Pantoran that she was not sure at that time, and Lanitra suggested that they go back to her ship, as Starros looked as though she needed a pleasant diversion. Starros agreed.
Lompop arrived and stated it she was glad the pair had met, and informed them they were to leave for Hon-Tallos with her in three hours. Lanitra questioned the move, stating that Lompop had said before that it was too risky, to which the Shani replied she had found help, referring to Starros, who told Lompop that she had not agreed to anything. In response, Lompop told Starros to have a drink, and informed Lanitra to go and tell her friends. As Lanitra walked away, Lompop warned Starros to be careful of Lanitra, claiming she was a handful.
Lanitra later participated in the capture of the King's Ransom. Afterwards, she once again invited Starros to her ship, which the latter accepted.
