The Landing union chapter was the main headquarters of the Sailor's Union of the planet Lamaredd. It was located in Farsands, the capital city of the sovereign island of Little Mon Cal, although the Union did have smaller union halls in other cities.
The Landing union chapter was managed by the shipping manager Kurline, a Quarren of ambiguous morality who fought for the Union's interests despite occasionally accepting bribes.
Farsands had a problem of corruption and some workers complained that the Union, through their main offices, was threatening them.
