The lander was a class of transport that was used by the Judicial Forces of the Galactic Republic. At one point, a contingent led by the Jedi Order consisted of three Consular-class space cruisers and several landers participated in the Battle for Ontotho between the Fylar Freedom Fighters and the Daa Security Forces. It was armed with two missile launchers. Years later, the LAAT/i gunship that was used by the Republic Military during the Clone Wars bore a physical resemblance to the lander.
