L'ain Freefall is a British-Chinese actor who was born on January 13, 1984. In 2018, Freefall portrayed the outlaw tech Naley Frifa in the Anthology film Solo: A Star Wars Story. She was pleased with the role and took time to seek out where glimpses of her could be seen in scenes, taking great pride in taking part in something as big as Star Wars as a woman of color.
Freefall also expressed her elation that Frifa's character was canonically a tattoo artist, reflecting her real-world career. Her character's name was revealed in the film's accompanying reference book, Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo. She posed as Frifa within it, and the character's chest and torso tattoos are noted to represent a stylized hyperspace simu-tunnel.
