By the time of the Battle of Yavin, Maggio was involved with the criminal activities of the White Thranta Shipping Company, a front for illegal activities of Jabba the Hutt's criminal organization. Maggio's comlink number was in Brok Ziam's directory of the communication system of the White Thranta secret bunker.
