Keldabe Air Traffic Control

Keldabe Air Traffic Control or Keldabe ATC, was the service responsible for monitoring and directing Mandalorian airspace. Headquartered in Mandalore's capital city of Keldabe, Keldabe Air Traffic Control possessed standard operating procedures that dictated they monitor all non-Mandalorian starships on the ground for signs of trouble.

In the year 25 ABY, Keldabe Air Traffic Control contacted the reigning Mand'alor Boba Fett upon his approach to Keldabe, notifying Fett that his contact Udelen was waiting for him at the city spaceport and his ship was under observation.

When the Jedi Knight Jaina Solo journeyed to Mandalorian space in 41 ABY, she contacted Keldabe Air Traffic Control requesting permission to land on the planet Mandalore. Keldabe ATC welcomed Solo, and assigned the Jedi a personal escort in the form of a Tra'kad-class transport. With instructions from Keldabe ATC, Solo followed her Tra'kad escort down to the spaceport where she touched down safely.

Keldabe Air Traffic Control was first introduced to the Star Wars universe in the 2006 e-novella Boba Fett: A Practical Man by author Karen Traviss. Traviss' later Star Wars: Legacy of the Force novel Legacy of the Force: Revelation, published February 26, 2008, featured Keldabe ATC again.
