Kakadu fruit

Kakadu fruit was a fruit that had a bitter citrine smell when it was too ripe. In 5 ABY, the bounty hunter Jas Emari inspected the body of the ex–Imperial Vice Admiral Perwin Gedde, considering the smell of it—which was similar to the fruit—and the presence of mycotoxin poison in his mouth to conclude that he had been murdered.

Kakadu fruit was mentioned in Aftermath: Life Debt, a 2016 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the second installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
