In order to house them, some of the Academy rooms were modified into small bedrooms with attached refresher units. A quite structured program was devised for the students, including provisions such as two hours of free time after dinner and all students needing to be in bed four hours after nightfall. Tionne Solusar and Luke Skywalker undertook most of the Jedi training, although they were joined by Ikrit later on.
The initial class was twenty diverse students of different species. Anakin Solo, Tahiri Veila and Chitter were some of the first students. Uldir Lochett and Sannah also joined midway through.
