Jocasta Nu's lightsaber

This lightsaber was a blue-bladed lightsaber owned by Jedi Master and Chief Librarian Jocasta Nu.

Though trained as a Consular Jedi and more of an academic than a warrior, Jocasta Nu still made a point of carrying her lightsaber if only as a symbol of authority. The lightsaber was usually concealed within her robes and kept well out of sight when she was working in the Archives.

The lightsaber was briefly stolen from Jocasta when she was impersonated by the Clawdite bounty hunter Cato Parasitti, who used it against Ahsoka Tano when the Togruta discovered her. Parasitti was no match for the Padawan, however, and was swiftly defeated and captured.

Jocasta still carried her blue-bladed lightsaber when she was in exile after surviving Order 66 and seeking to restore the Jedi Order. She used it to threaten and briefly duel with the Grand Inquisitor upon catching sight of him mistreating her precious books, being defeated but spared from death when Darth Vader intervened, as she was wanted alive by the Emperor. Jocasta escaped them both and retreated to a hidden room where she recovered a lightsaber rifle and used it against Vader, using her own lightsaber to power the weapon. After firing five shots, however, her lightsaber's hilt was melted beyond use before being destroyed outright for good when she triggered the rifle's self-destruct feature in a last-ditch attempt to kill Vader.
