Heddle, whose hiring was announced on October 26, 2011, replaced longtime LucasBooks Executive Editor Sue Rostoni. She previously worked at Simon & Schuster in their Pocket Books division.
In addition to her editing duties, Heddle has written a short story for Star Wars Insider called "Constant Spirit" that ties into the novel Razor's Edge. Heddle also authored the World of Reading title A Leader Named Leia.
